Dr. Chiragkumar Parekh is working with Hyundai Power Transformers USA a Global leader in Power transformer manufacturing. Up to year 2022, he has worked 20 with Atlanta Electricals Pvt. Limited(AEPL) a one of the fastest growing Power Transformer manufacturer in India. He is also associated with R K University, a growing academic institution of India located in Gujarat State. He has received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from R K University in year 2017. His altogether industrial-academic experience is around 22 years. He has most significant expertise in Power Transformer Design, Engineering and manufacturing. He is also expert in Switchgear and protection, Testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, Substation engineering, Power generation –transmission and distribution, Electricity generation by Solar and Wind. He has also expertise in simulation and software based electrostatic and electromagnetic analysis. He has developed innovative products like Mobile substation, Short circuit testing transformer, Ester oil filled Power Transformer during his industrial tenure at India and for that his employer AEPL received recognition award for innovation in technology from State and Central government of India. He has also developed and established fully automated and state of art Power Transformer Testing laboratory for testing power transformer up to 200 MVA capacity and 220 kV voltage class including 1400 kV Impulse Voltage generator. He has published more than 20 paper in National and International journals and conferences. Under his guidance 1 research scholar completed his PhD study successfully and furthermore 5 PhD scholars pursuing research study under his mentorship. Under his leadership, his previous employer AEPL grew a large in context of revenue and manufacturing capacity too. At present he is member of IEEE USA and CIGRE USA. He is also member of CIGRE working group for Off Shore electricity transmission. He recently received outstanding team member award from Hyundai Power Transformer USA.
